* A patch test is required for a colour service.
Q - I have always had a hair colour with different brands over the years and never had a problem, can I not bother with a patch test?
A - No, a patch test is compulsory. Any professional hairdresser would insist on patch testing. Our bodies can react at anytime to anything from mild to severe, which is why I patch test to make sure my client's do not get a reaction that could have been prevented.
HAIR STYLING SERVICE
One of the things my clients always say is how lovely it would be to pop off our heads, style our hair, then put it back on! It can be difficult to style your own hair and find time to fit it in. Which is why I offer my ever popular mobile styling service that fits in around you. Perfect for going out and occasions! (Please read the "good to know" below)

Good to know ...
* When booked in for a blow dry, please shampoo and condition your hair before I arrive. ONLY use conditioner on the ends.
* I will use my own styling products that I know give great results!
* Styling services are very popular especially during friday/saturday afternoons and evenings.
Appointments get booked up in advance so please book in as early as you can.
* Weekend morning appointments will be limited as I reserve them for weddings. Contact me to check availability.
* Cancellations made less than 48 hours before will be charged a 50% fee. As this service is popular, clients that cancel then re book are required to pay the full service fee upon booking.
* A discount of 10% applies for block bookings of 4 appointments. Discount is deducted from the 4th appointment charge.
Booking fees
For all bookings I require a non refundable booking fee via BACS, payable at the time of booking. Booking fees are as follows:
Cuts only £15.00
Colours £20.00
Weddings £50.00
The booking fee comes off the total for services at the end of your appointment. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice for ANY reason, the booking fee will not be refunded. The booking fee is fully refundable with 48 hours notice or more, or in the unlikely event I cannot attend your appointment.
I am aware life throws obstacles at us but the booking fee is there to protect my income, self employed business, time, lost wage, products and most importantly paid childcare arrangements.
For existing clients, thank you so much for your understanding and support.
For new clients I offer a free consultation before booking. I always discuss the process, what’s achievable with the individual client and I’m always happy to explain what I am doing and why. In fact - I love to explain it!
